Can You Do a Mitzvah in September?

 

     Do you live within walking distance of PCS? Are you willing and able to do a mitzvah? The family of Zennor Angove-Cohen, who is becoming a Bat Mitzvah September 20, 2014, is looking for a place to stay for close relatives, a family of four. They are coming in from out of town and need a place to stay within walking distance of PCS on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20. PCS Shabbaton, April 11-12

FRIDAY NIGHT SERVICE - 7:15 pm. Join us for the beginning of a very special PCS Shabbaton. After services, at about 8:30 pm, there will be a festive Oneg Shabbat refreshment hour, followed by SpeakChorus Torah, session #1 with Cantor Abbe Lyons. All are welcome!


SATURDAY MORNING - 9 am to 12 pm. Morning meditation at 9 am with Rabbi Mark;  Family Education Shabbat morning service, including a SpeakChorus discussion, begins at 10 am, followed with a noon Kiddush luncheon and SpeakChorus Torah study session #2.

SATURDAY NIGHT - 6-8 pm. Come for a vegetarian potluck dinner followed by Kirtan, singing, and a lovely Havdalah service.
