What is G-dcast? Watch cartoons based on the story Jews are reading in
the Torah this week. Four minutes each week - some tell stories,
some sing country songs. (And then there's the hip
hoppers, too!)

BAR MITZVAH COMMUNITY SERVICE
PROJECT
From
Benjamin Lerman:
I am doing my mitzvah project with the AFYA foundation. AFYA means
"health" in Swahili and the foundation collects donated
items and sends them to developing countries and countries in the
midst of crisis. In total, the AFYA foundation has worked with 56 countries worldwide. For example, they are
currently working on an effort to stop Ebola in Sierra Leone.
I am interested in collecting
soccer balls, medical supplies,
water bottles, school supplies and books. There is a box for
collection in the synagogue sanctuary. All donations are much
appreciated!
