Shabbat Services

FRIDAY NIGHT SERVICE - 7:15 pm. With Children's Service and special "SNAP" service (see below for details).
Join us as we gather to sing, chant, and even dance together. A way to transition from the pulls and stresses of the week to a more centered, calm, and forgiving place.

SPECIAL NEEDS AT PLEASANTVILLE ("SNAP") SERVICE - 6:45 pm, Friday, Sept. 19.

Are you looking to welcome Shabbat with your child, but not sure where to begin? Is your child a unique learner who thrives in more intimate, personalized environments?  Join us Friday night September 19 for our first ever "Snap" service!

Doors open at 6:45 pm for celebratory candle-lighting, juice, and challah; followed by a 15-minute "Snap" service - featuring music and movement - at 7 pm.   

Everyone is welcome: all ages, levels of ability and literacy, anyone and everyone looking for a very welcoming, joyful and inclusive Shabbat experience.

 

SATURDAY MORNING - 9 am to 12 pm. Morning meditation at 9 am with Rabbi Mark;  Shabbat morning service begins at 9:30 am.  Congratulations to Zennor Angove-Cohen on becoming a Bat Mitzvah, and to her parents, Juliette and Alex, and to her brother, Samuel Kiddush will immediately follow services, and is being sponsored by Juliette and Alex in honor of the occasion. After kiddush, please join us for Torah study. All are welcome.
