Everything You’ve Wanted To Ask About AI

Everything You’ve Wanted to Ask About AI

A Community Open Session with Rabbi Ben Newman

Tuesday, June 23 | 7:00 PM | Zoom

You’ve heard the buzz. Maybe you’ve tried ChatGPT once or twice. Maybe you already use AI every day. Maybe you are curious, excited, skeptical, confused, or a little worried.

This open community session is for all of that.

PCS’s own Rabbi Ben Newman — author of AI for Clergy: Harnessing the Power of the Digital Golem and an AI educator who has led workshops for clergy and communities nationally — will offer a clear, practical tour of the AI landscape as it exists right now.

We’ll look at the major models, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini; explore tools like NotebookLM for research, transcription tools that can save hours of work, and creative tools for writing, graphics, planning, administration, and more.

We’ll also get into the how: better prompting, practical workflows, common mistakes, privacy concerns, accuracy, ethics, and how to use AI as a real productivity partner without letting it do your thinking for you.

And for the adventurous, we’ll take a look at the next frontier: agentic AI — emerging systems that do not just answer questions, but can take actions on your behalf. We’ll talk about what that really means, what is exciting, and what to watch out for.

No background required. Beginners are welcome. So are people who already know a lot.

Come with your questions. Leave with a map.
