Pleasantville Community Synagogue in Westchester County is a welcoming Jewish community connecting people of diverse traditions and backgrounds who want to share a joyous spiritual and cultural home. Our membership includes traditional and non-traditional Jews, intermarried, LGBTQ, and multi-racial individuals and families of all ages, from throughout the county. Our members and our traditions come from Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, and Jewish Renewal backgrounds and more.

Meditation 8:30 am, service 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Torah at 10:00. Children’s blessing and story at 11:00, children’s program 11:30, Oneg luncheon at 12:30.

Rosh Hashanah, Day Two
Meditation 8:30 am, service 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Torah at 10:00. Free all-ages family service 10:00 to 11:00, and musical Tashlich at 2:30 pm.

Erev Yom Kippur evening service.

Yom Kippur
Meditation 8:30 am, service 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Torah at 10:00. Free all-ages family service 10:00 to 11:00, children’s program 11:30, Yizkor 12:30. Mincha and Jonah at 6:00 pm, Ma’ariv and Ne’ilah at 7:00, Break Fast at 7:45.

Pizza in the Hut
Pizza in the sukkah at 6:00 pm, then a musical service and the launch of The Enchanted Sukkah Trilogy at 6:30.
Saturday, October 3
Simchat Torah
Music and dancing as we unroll the scroll and begin again.

No charge and no membership required. Both are all ages, and both are a good first door if you’ve never been here before. Let us know you’re coming and we’ll send you everything you need — your free ticket for the family service, and where to meet us for Tashlich.
Tickets & Membership
- For member and guest safety, tickets must be presented at all High Holiday events at PCS. One ticket covers every service, the Oneg luncheon on Rosh Hashanah Day 1, and Break Fast on Yom Kippur. Tickets can be shown on your phone or printed at home, and entry won’t be granted without one.
- Seating is first come, first served. We expect a large turnout for Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur morning — if the sanctuary is full, there’s overflow seating in the Community Room.
- Member tickets are non-transferable. We offer a special guest rate for friends and family you’d like to bring.
