Everything You’ve Wanted to Ask About AI, Part 2: AI That Gets Things Done

With Rabbi Ben Newman

Tuesday, November 17 · 7:00–8:15 pm · Zoom

In June we mapped the AI landscape. Since then the landscape has moved. AI assistants have gone from answering questions to doing work: reading your inbox, drafting replies from your notes, building documents and slide decks, sorting files, and carrying a multi-step task through while you do something else.

PCS’s own Rabbi Ben Newman is the author of AI for Clergy: Harnessing the Power of the Digital Golem and an AI educator who has led workshops for clergy and communities nationally. He’ll give a practical, hands-on look at agentic AI and how to use it to get more done. We’ll cover:

  • What’s new since June: the latest releases from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and how “agents” moved from demo to something you can use today.
  • Connecting AI to your actual life: linking an assistant to your email, calendar, and documents so it works from your real information.
  • Workflows that save hours: real examples from running a synagogue, writing books, and managing a busy week, including where AI helped and where it didn’t.
  • Staying in charge: privacy, permissions, accuracy, and how to delegate to an AI without handing over your judgment.

You don’t need to have come in June. Bring a task you’d love to get off your plate, and we’ll talk about whether AI can take it.
